John Kiragu is our interviewee today as he talks about Adalavice which is to be launched soon. After the hi’s, Tanu started off, “So tell us about yourself and what you do.” John Kiragu, the lead developer of Adalavice introduces himself and tells us how he and his team are reinventing Property Management. “Adalavice was founded in 2014 and is targetted for the Kenyan and African market.”
The origin of the name, he goes on, is Ada – the first female programmer, Lavice – French for best.’
He is the brains of the outfit, read the one who came up with the idea, after having a stressful time paying his rent while staying in Nairobi back in 2012. Therefore, away he started with learning how to code and voila, 2 years down the line, the world is presented with a custom-made site which automates rent collection.
“Tell us more on the product” our interviewer Tanu states. [Editor’s note – her noding her head is an obvious sign of appreciation.]
Adalavice comes in different classes: Basic, Standard and Pro; options that landlords have the liberty of choice. Whats more, the system could be locally installed if they have their servers or on cloud which will attract a charge for the hosting services.
As a parting shot, Kiragu reverberated his claim of providing a cost-effective solution to the real-estate market in Kenya and in 5 years he hopes to be a household name in that sector all over East Africa.
TechKenyans wishes the team the very best. Adalavice will launch in September 1. Be sure, it’ll be covered here.
